I had the pleasure of appearing on a recent episode of Dr. Shlomo Sher and Andy Ashcraft’s The Ethics and Video Games Podcast to discuss my work on how companies simulate real-world cultures, how that practice intersects with business prerogatives and how companies might be more ethical going forward.

I would also recommend folks take a look at the other wonderful guests interviewed for the show on a range of other game studies topics!

My presentation starts at 34:36, but I recommend anyone interested in learning more about either Magic: The Gathering distribution or Critical Role mediation, to check out the whole panel!

Short feature interview with Antonios Liapis at 30:40 in this year’s FDG (Foundation of Digital Games) TV Live Show.

If you want to hear a bit more about my research on Magic: The Gathering, check it out!

Also FDG TV’s catalogue is a treasure trove of research and conference interviews. Can’t recommend enough

A small interview from back in the first year of my MA at the Breathing Games - Game Jam from 2016.

I did some some translation work and technical writing for this jam, which was focused on producing new apps gamifying medical care exercises for youths with pulmonary disorders like cystic fibrosis.
